Thursday Morning Breakout--Border Station Mini-charrette

Format:

Small Break-out group consisting of: the General Services Administration Representatives (the client), the Design Team including the Architects, Civil and Mechanical, Electrical Engineers, The Green Design Consultant, Facilitator and other workshop participants

Goals:

• To move the project beyond the basic LEED criteria into higher benchmark levels of performance and more advanced ecological systems design.
• To begin to align the design and client team with these higher performance objectives
• To advise on a mindset and organizational approach / management structure to realize an effective integrative design process that helps to realize higher levels of cost effective performance

Structure:

• 1.5 hours for “charrette” (way too short)
