Expanding: A broader vision of the scope and community.

Our: We (hopefully including you) are people who care about the built and natural environments (not that they are necessarily separate).

Approach: Integrated design is ideal for delivering green, high-performance buildings. But does it go far enough?

In April 2005 a group of people got together to begin imagining a new understanding of our work as architects, developers, engineers, scientists, educators, writers. We came with questions and ideas—about place-based design, living systems, integral thinking, and other evolving approaches.
